Perry Saved!

Perry will remain open and Sowers will not be shut down and moved. Remodeling will be the course of action there. The District is changing to basic aid funding which will change things- hard to say how at this point.

The District Trustees voted unanimously on both items and say they want to equalize our schools and work on ways to encourage kids to stay in our schools.

However, this all comes with question marks for the future. It sounds like a school could still close in the future. So please stay connected to this group. Perhaps our work is not quite done yet. I thank from the bottom of my heart everyone who helped out in big and small ways. The future of our kids and town looks a little brighter!
