The Board of Directors recently commissioned a study of the feasibility of selling Perry!

We need to organize all parents and residents.

And the best way to do this is to stay informed!  Here are some easy ways to do this:

Sign up for the Save HB Schools email list

Stay informed on any news or updates regarding Perry and Sowers by signing up on our email list.  Our coalition will continue to monitor the status of the Perry and Sowers sales and alert the community on any changes further developments.
Attend an HBCSD Board of Trustees meeting

Any deliberation or decision to close or sell a school takes place at the Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD) Board of Trustees (School Board) meetings.

Learn more on what usually takes place at these meetings by attending and/or speaking at a HBCSD meeting.  The meetings are open to the public and are held at S.A. Moffett Elementary School in the “Gallery Room”.

The meetings start at 6pm and are usually held on the third Tuesday of each month. The last meeting this year will be held on Dec 11, 2018.

Never Attended a Meeting Before?

There is nothing to be intimidated about. School Board meetings are held at Moffett Elementary in the “Gallery Room”. You’ll be in good company with the many parents that attend.

Reach Out To Our School Board Trustees

If you can’t attend and speak at an HBCSD meeting, the next best thing is to send an email to the HBCSD Board of Trustees:

And Finally, Make Sure You Register To Vote – And VOTE In Our Local Elections!

Our Huntington Beach community must remain vigilant and elect and support HB officials who will protect the small town feel of our community starting with our local schools!

And this means every HB resident who’s a U.S. citizen should make sure they are registered to vote — and vote in every election including our Huntington Beach City Council races.  Our Orange County Registrar of Voters makes it easy to register online on their website:
